This is one of famous local food in Pontianak City. Chai Kue goreng or fried chai kue. This street food only available at night. One famous Fried Chai Kue is on Gajahmada road. It looks like fried dim sum, but it is not. I think the skin was made by rice flour. Inside, they have some choices such as soybeans, taro, yam, and chives. Chives is the best seller. Price for one piece is 1500 rupiah or around 0.15 USD. Much better than eating junk food.

This week topic is Weekly Photo Challenge: Future Tense. I took this photo in one of restaurant in Pontianak city. Quite different with other restaurant that have only one calendar, they have so many calendars. Those calendar contain their own message. Some calendars are company wishes for 2013. Other calendars are wishes from politician and their party. Very unique view.
I share my thought about Supply Chain Management at Rakyat Kalbar Newspaper. After last week I talked about Inventory Management, this week I talked about Supply-Demand Planning.
They also posted it on their website. Check it out: http://www.equator-news.com/kolom/20130317/perencanaan-supply-demand
I had breakfast at Warung Kopi Merapi (Merapi Coffee Shop), Pontianak. This place is always busy everyday. They open from 4am to 2pm. There are many people coming to this place from workers to politicians. Some people believe that every issues start from this place will spread to entire city easily. Anyway, I had coffee milk and chicken satay with lontong. Lontong is a food consisting of rice steamed in a banana leaf. Very delicious. Have a nice day.
