This is one of famous local food in Pontianak City. Chai Kue goreng or fried chai kue. This street food only available at night. One famous Fried Chai Kue is on Gajahmada road. It looks like fried dim sum, but it is not. I think the skin was made by rice flour. Inside, they have some choices such as soybeans, taro, yam, and chives. Chives is the best seller. Price for one piece is 1500 rupiah or around 0.15 USD. Much better than eating junk food.

Belum pernah nemu di tempat lain. Baru nemu di Pontianak ini. Mungkin kalau ada restaurant pontianak ada kali ya chai kue goreng. Di bandung ada gitu restaurant pontianak?
