This week topic is Weekly Photo Challenge: Masterpiece. I had dinner at The Valley restaurant in Bandung. I ordered their masterpiece wagyu sirloin. Medium well 200gr wagyu steak with mashed potato, three different sauces, two extra prawns, vegetable salad and fruit salad in one package cost me around USD 50. Costly but delicious. 🙂
I had dinner at Holy Cow Restaurant Senopati Jakarta. The name of holy cow restaurant is famous since they served secondary cut Wagyu Steak below USD 10. Marketers said more for less. With less price, we will get more quality. However, I heard that the owner split. This Holy Cow restaurant is different. They serve high price wagyu steak. They have USD 10 Petite Wagyu Tender. But it is petite. Small. Kids portion. Even their waitress did not recommend it. Because me and my friend expectation is having steak below USD 10, we ordered USD 8 Prime Sirloin Steak. However, as you can see, this steak is less for less. Less price will give you less quality. They don’t provide nice steak cut. I really have to find the original Holy Cow Restaurant that provide Wagyu Steak below USD 10.
BBQ time… Yeay.. This time, I held Wagyu BBQ in my house. Those two aluminium foils are baby potatoes with virgin oil. I love BBQ party. Compare with having party in restaurant BBQ has many advantage such as open space, “smell delicious”, and cheaper. The lazy time is the cleaning time after BBQ. 🙂
