I was having dinner at Daeng Tata Restaurant Jakarta. This restaurant have a delicious South Sulawesi Food. Their special menu is Tata Ribs or grilled beef ribs. For around USD 3.5, you will have one huge grilled ribs. Very delicious. Again, I just have chance to take picture of their menu before food come. This restaurant sponsored by Flexi which is one of the biggest CDMA telecommunication operator in Indonesia. I don’t know what is the relation between telecommunication company and restaurant. I guess they mostly have lunch meeting in this restaurant therefore they sponsored this restaurant.

These are picture of my dessert table during baby shower. The part I like is the baby dragon illustration which was made by my sister in law. She is talented. We put this baby dragon picture on sticker and on baby T-Shirt. Why dragon? Because my daughter will born at the end of water dragon’s year. Dragon’s tail :-). For the dessert, there were many variation from strawberry fruits to macaroons. I like how we put baby dragon sticker on Kitkat chocolate. For me, dessert table is the best time for family to explore their creativity. Even my parents and parents in law contribute to create this dessert table. Weird? I hope not. How about you? Do you make dessert table for your party?
Continue from previous post about my wife’s baby shower. All foods are in 7 quantities. There are 7 yellow rice with 7 kind of side dishes. All side dishes are vegan. Also, there are other desserts in 7 quantities such as porridges, colorful sticky rice. Besides foods, my wife also have to change batik 7 times. There is one picture that show 7 batik in different pattern. Each pattern have their own meaning. Next post I will show you my dessert table during this baby shower.
Christmas decoration usually identically with christmas tree, santa, gift, and candy. We can put Santa figure and several gifts under the Christmas tree. But candy? People loved candy especially children. We can make dessert table for candies. Dessert table also makes our family close when we pull all entire family member creativity into one dessert table. Christmas is our time to visit our family member. So, it is a good time to ask grandma, grandpa, mother, father, aunty, uncle, nephew, cousin, children to do printing, naming, cutting, decorating, and buying candies. I had lunch at Origin House & Kitchen Restaurant Bandung which located at Jalan Sumatra No.21 Bandung. This restaurant had an open space concept to make cool air of Bandung flows inside. Nothing special when my Ice Lemon Tea come. As you can see, it is just lemon and tea (no wonder they called it lemon tea). However, I like their coasted which have nice cutting pattern. For meal, I ordered Salmon Spaghetti and Fettucini Carbonara. Tasted delicious but the portion was small as you can see in below picture. I don’t know whether its plate is too big or my hunger level is too high. Anyway, I like the restaurant concept with its unique furniture. Quite recommended when you visited Bandung city to spend time during lunch or dinner.
