This is one of famous drink in Pontianak City called Aloe Vera with Ice. It is Aloe Vera. Real Aloe Vera. I know some people use it on hair. Some shampoos have it. But this time, I eat it. Or drink it. Tasted like jelly. Fresh and sweet.
I have dinner at Pasar Central or Central Market, Pontianak City. There is one famous street food who sold Fried Kue Tiaw with beef. Kue Tiaw is a rice noodle. They also serve fried beef brisket. Very delicious. You should try it if you visit Pontianak City, Indonesia.
I have lunch at Bak-Mie Kepiting Ou Kie or Crabs Noodle Ou Kie. This street food located at Tanjung Pura Road, Pontianak, Indonesia. Too bad they ran out crabs. I have yellow noodle and my friend have white noodle. Coconut water with ice is the best company for all those foods. I can say this noodle is very delicious. Very recommended if you visit Pontianak City.
This is one of famous local food in Pontianak City. Chai Kue goreng or fried chai kue. This street food only available at night. One famous Fried Chai Kue is on Gajahmada road. It looks like fried dim sum, but it is not. I think the skin was made by rice flour. Inside, they have some choices such as soybeans, taro, yam, and chives. Chives is the best seller. Price for one piece is 1500 rupiah or around 0.15 USD. Much better than eating junk food.
