Ah, bats! They are supposed to be delicious. I haven’t been able to try one yet, however, it is on my list of things I want to eat. Thanks for sharing the book. I will have to check it out. 🙂

I don’t know. Haven’t tasted it. Maybe it taste as same as other satay. 🙂 I love crab too. Especially Alaska’s Crab. But very expensive in here. 🙂
thanks for the like……ive never been to the east but you sure eat some entertaining things….yes id dare to eat some of them……not sure if id enjoy them all though…….i too like to make low cost high use items…….i hike in the mountains a lot so im always attempting to rearrange my gear to get the weight down and items that have two or more functions are excellent for this………
Thank you for visiting my blog and for your honest comment. 🙂 Not all people eat those entertaining things in here. Also, those things are not available in every market. They are only available in special kind of market. So, don’t forget to take a picture when you eat some. 🙂 Creating new tools is amazing right. Especially low cost 🙂 Feel like MacGyver TV series.

Yes, I would dare. There exists more unfavorable fare in the world than in the pictures. Chocolate covered ants are good as well. 🙂
Cool. 🙂 Michael Freeman write book about Strange Foods: Bush Meat, Bats, and Butterflies; An Epicurean Adventure Around the World
. Agree. Sometimes sight and taste is not aligned. 🙂
