Look I found Nemo. This fish was swimming without fear when I swim closer. The view underwater is so cool. I took this picture using Canon PowerShot G9
during my diving trip to Bunaken Manado North Sulawesi.

Nemo is beautiful. I wish he’d stop getting lost. How’s Dorie? lol
Fantastic photography. I enjoyed all I have seen so far. This one is my favorite of what I have see.
Thank you, Nae, for your honest message. I appreciate your comment. Glad you enjoyed. Anyway, do you dive?
This is great – are you using a DSLR with cover for your underwater photography or did you purchase a special underwater camera?
Thanks, Aaron. I used Canon PowerShot G9
with underwater casing WP-DC 21. I used to dive nearly 30mtrs deep with it. This camera is still my best diving buddy until now. đŸ™‚
Ahh… the G9. I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a G series camera for quite some time but never pulled the trigger. Now they have the new G1X – but it’s a bit pricey for a second camera….maybe some day!
Yes, I remember G1x is more expensive than EOS1xxxD. Well, for me, my Canon PowerShot G9
is my primary camera for underwater photography until now. đŸ™‚ I think you can consider second hand G series.
Great underwater shot. The title is humorous too.
Thank you, Pal, for stopping by and for your honest message.
Nemo is so beautiful! I just learned a couple weeks ago that Nemo (along with all other clown fish) is a hermaphrodite!
Thank you, Lu, for stopping by and for your honest message. Yes, Clownfish are sequential hermaphrodites, meaning that they develop into males first, and when they mature, they become females. If the female clownfish is removed from the group, such as by death, one of the largest and most dominant males will become a female.
Oh that is cool – thank you for elaborating!
You’re welcome đŸ™‚
I love your underwater photography. I’m a little envious, actually. Awesome picture.
Thank you, Amanda, for stopping by and for your honest message. Glad you like it. Do you dive? This picture I took this picture around 4 meters deep. I think snorkeling is enough to get this kind of pic. C’mon find Nemo đŸ™‚
I unfortunately do not dive. I live in Minnesota (not sure where you’re from/how familiar you are with the US – Minnesota borders Canada and is in the middle of the country) so even if I did dive I would mostly only get to see freshwater northern fish. Not a lot of spectacular colors there, although that’s not to say they wouldn’t be interesting.
Never been to US đŸ˜¦ Well maybe you are right. But I like to dive to see northern fish if I have chance đŸ™‚ I googled and found a lot of scuba dive centres in Minnesota. Here is one of the picture. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1358/1084160925_5dd34b167b.jpg
