I tried to capture this carrot bottle using continuous lightning. Dark background is a little bit tricky. I could not use evaluative metering unless I metered my camera closely to the object. Partial metering and spot metering would be better for this shot. I was using my Canon EOS 40D and Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM Standard Zoom Lens.

This picture I took using back light and front light. For the Back Light I used my Canon Speedlite 580EX II Flash for Canon EOS Digital SLR Cameras. For the front light I used my tronic extreme kit standard reflector. I was using my Canon EOS 40D and Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM Standard Zoom Lens.

This picture I took using bottom and front light. I put the bottle on my handmade tabletop. For the bottom light I used my Canon Speedlite 580EX II Flash for Canon EOS Digital SLR Cameras. For the front light I used Tronic Extreme standard reflector. Bottle will have an over exposure at the bottom. Hence, clear bright color has been captured at the label.
