Kinel Merlot 2005

Kinel Merlot 2005 oleh D.O. Central Valley Chile.

This wine use Kinel which means ‘Brothers’ in Indian Chili local language. On the other hand, Kinel is a town in Samara Oblast, Russia, located on the Bolshoy Kinel River near its confluence with the Samara River.
I don’t like this wine label design. I think they should put some picture on the label. I have not tried this wine yet. I put it on my wine rack collection.

Carlo Rossi California Red

Carlo Rossi California Red by Carlo Rossi USA.

This is red wine. However, I could not find the production year on the label. On the other hand, the combination of white and red in this label is interesting. The colorful logo in the middle makes the brand become stand out. It has a stopping power for customer to buy this wine.

I also have other label of Carlo Rossi California Red. The difference can be seen on the Carlo Rossi font type on the label. Also, we can see the different on the bottle cap. However, I could not tell which one was older because there is no production year information on the label.

I have not tasted these wines yet. I put them together on my wine rack collection.

They have a website. Check it out:

Campo Burgo Crianza 2003

Campo Burgo Crianza 2003 by Embotellado por Bodegas Maques de Campo Nuble, S.L. Spain.

This is red wine. When the label says vino joven (“young wine”) or sin crianza, the wines will have undergone very little, if any, wood ageing. Crianza red wines are aged for 2 years with at least 6 months in oak. The combination of black and gold colors on the label is very interesting and eye catching. I like the logo. It is a simple design but make me want to know what it means. It looks like an army logo or something. Anyway, I can not find what it means.

I have not tasted this wine yet. However, I like to put it on my wine rack collections.

Cassilero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon

Cassilero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon by Concha y Toro Chile.

Concha y Toro produces several different wine styles including a Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc made from grapes the Maule Valley. They also produce a barrel fermented Chardonnay and a single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon named after the winery’s founder, Don Melchor. The wine comes from the Puente Alto Vineyard in Maipo Valley. Concha y Toro is the largest producer of wines from Latin America and is one of the global leaders in its field. It is headquartered in Santiago, Chile.
I could not find production year on the label. The logo and the Brand is standing out. However the description font type is hard to read. I have not tasted this wine yet but I like to put in on my wine rack collection.

Legado Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

Legado Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 by De Martino Chile

De Matino was founded in 1934 by Pietro De Martino, who arrived in Chile in search of a place to satisfy his passion for winemaking. The third and fourth generations of the De Martino family now work in the winery every day. Today, more than 80 years after it began, the winery maintains its dynamism, family tradition, and the adventurous, pioneering spirit of the De Martino family.

The label is simple but strong. I can read the company name from a far. I have not tasted this wine yet. I put it on my wine rack collection.
