I passed SMA Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa. This is the famous boarding school in West Borneo, especially in Pontianak City.
Indonesia
I had breakfast at Warung Kopi Merapi (Merapi Coffee Shop), Pontianak. This place is always busy everyday. They open from 4am to 2pm. There are many people coming to this place from workers to politicians. Some people believe that every issues start from this place will spread to entire city easily. Anyway, I had coffee milk and chicken satay with lontong. Lontong is a food consisting of rice steamed in a banana leaf. Very delicious. Have a nice day.
Arrived at Pontianak City and stayed at Aston Hotel. I got family suite room. This room has three entrance doors, two beds, one big living room, one dinner table, kitchen sink. On the balcony, I can see the swimming pool. Very nice room and very nice hotel to stay at Pontianak. This hotel is also located at Gajahmada Road which is the main road in Pontianak City. Close to everywhere. This 4 stars hotel is very recommended.
They have a website. Check it out:Â http://www.aston-international.com
I was invited to attend photography presentation session at @America. I couldn’t tell more about the presentation because the presentation was only slide show of New York city photos. However, I can tell you about @America since this is my first time to visit this place. @America is located at Pacific Place Mall 3rd Floor #325, Jakarta. @America provides state-of-the-art technology and every information about the United States. If you are looking for more information about America, this is the right place to go. But I can tell you that this place is very strict in security. People have to form a line like an army before we can enter this place. I have to pass body scanner and bags scanner. Moreover, no bags allowed to go inside. People have to leave bags at locker in security area. The have hundreds lockers. However, I can bring camera and handphone inside but I can not take picture in security area.
Well, if you interested to know more, you can check their activity calendar on their website at http://www.atamerica.or.id. Mostly, their activities are free entrance.
