During this water droplet shooting, I put my focus on top of the splash. I think much better. However, I don’t like the grainy noise because of high ISO. In this shoot I use available light without flash. Next shoot I will use flash lighting.
Lighting Experiences
I tried to shot water droplet. I have to set Shutter speed high to make freeze effect. Without flash, I have to balance light exposure level in the middle or 0. Therefore, I have to set at the H ISO. As a result the picture has grainy effect everywhere.
This presenter was waiting for other presenter in the photography exhibition. I shoot her using my Canon EOS 40D
This time I am using red ged for the back light. I put red gel on my speedlite 580EXII. For front light I am using Tronic Extreme with Soft Box. Anyway, I think blue color much better for wine background.
This picture was using standard reflector front light and blue gel back light. Acrylic table top will make gradation blue color and mirror effect at the bottom. I was using my Canon EOS 40D
