I hang this Blessing Words on my wall. It said in Indonesian “berkatilah rumah ini ya Tuhan Lindungilah siang dan malam”. In English it means “bless this house, o Lord, protect it day and night”. Do you have similar blessing words in your house?

the Lunar new year is coming – that’s why my dad add so many red papers with back blessing words with traditional writing styles (all in Chinese) on the wall , for example : “go and come back safely” – ” come the good luck and wealthy” > v < they are almost eveywhere !
Wow, that is very interesting tradition. You make me eager to see it. Do you have plan to post it in your blog, Yin?
Sure I will ^ – ^ my family are still in our preparing for the coming new year, I will share a post abt this as soon as we finish the job ,how abt your family ? do you have any special tradition in celebrating the new year ?
biar rumahnya diberkati terus ya Mas..
Hiasan dinding aja sih, Dan. hehehe
Kalau mau diberkati terus kudu rajin berdoa.
Di rumah ada hiasan dinding serupa yang maknanya mirip, Dan?
kalau di rumahku ada ayat kursi , yang isinya doa2 juga
Ayat kursi itu buat ngusir roh halus ya, Mbak?
I personally don’t… my next door neighbor has a sign that says “God bless this house”
Is that similar artwork? The meaning is the same.
My neighbor’s sign is just a sign, it means the same but definitely not as artistic as yours
Simply remind me of brooklyn Tabernacle Choir: I will blessed the Lord at all time for His Good so Good real Good!
What a great coincidence. But this words more on blessing the house. Cheers.
