  2. This is just what I used to see out of my window here in Pancoran. 8 months ago there was a small area of green in a sort of ‘urban kampung’ setting. Cows, chickens and goats roamed around in this small space and I really loved to watch them. In just a few months the green area has vanished and been replaced with shanties cobbled together with old doors, corrugated iron and asbestos sheets. I loved your photo because it reminded me of that memory.

    • Thank you, Lottie Nevin, for visiting my blog and for your honest comment. It is like a dream how there are still vacant land today in urban areas, especially in Jakarta. The day after tomorrow there will be no vacant land in urban areas. Trees and grass are changing become steel and bricks. No wonder the flooding everywhere.

  7. Really unique shot— very cool! Did you consider cropping out that ledge at the bottom? I like seeing the street in the background, and I like that you kept as much of it as possible, but a long panorama crop might keep all that urban scene (and the buffalo) while getting rid of the distracting black thing in the foreground. But I don’t know, it might not work.

Even so— great shot, nice job! :)

    • Thank you, Josy, what a great comment. I took this shot at the second floor of my house behind the window glass. This photo was taken using low resolution Blackberry Mobile Phone. I did not crop because of the resolution reason. However, you give a valuable comment for me. Therefore, I can improve my next attempt. Cheers :-)
